he band was created in 1993 in Tychy. The impetus for the band came from two  boys – Sebastian Riedel, Sylwester Kramek . The band’s name was invented by Rysiek Riedel, Sebastian’s father, a legendary, now deceased, singer in a band called “Dżem”. He was always fascinated by the history and life of Native Americans.

In 1997, the band made its nationwide debut – the group played at the First Festival of Young Culture at the „Stodoła” club in Warszawa. In the same year, the band won the Grand Prix of the Sixth Olsztyn Blues Nights Festival. Then the group gave a concert at the „Fama” festival in Świnoujście. This performance was recorded by the Polish Television. Directly afterwards the band played in the “Sala Kongresowa” concert hall as John Mayall’s support. Since then the group has achieved success after success and has played dozens of concerts, also at big blues festivals. Over the years the popularity of the band among the audience has increased and, as a result, Cree is now numbered among the leading blues and rock groups in Poland. The following musicians play in the band: Sebastian Riedel (guitar, vocals), Sylwester Kramek (guitar), Lucjan Gryszka (bass guitar), Tomasz Kwiatkowski (percussion) and Adam Lomania (keyboard).
